![]() ![]() Though my wife and I have regularly seen and heard about Mursaki since it opened aplromateky 9 years ago, we have never eaten here. My only criticism is that the service was a little out of sync at times.salads coming before appetizers, and entrees coming at different times, but since we were all family no one felt the need to wait for everyone to have any particular course before they ate their own. The food was plentiful and quite delicious. That being said, it was a very lovely dinner out. I'll have to admit neither my husband and I were fans. One person ordered the tempura ice cream for dessert, which everyone had a taste of. And almost everyone brought enough of their entree home to enjoy another meal. Everyone else had full hibachi style dinners that came with Miso soup, and salad. I particularly enjoyed the calamari with sweet Thai chili sauce and the pork Gyoza. Since none of our party is particularly into sushi or sashimi, I can't comment on that, but the dishes that we had were all quite good. The menu is quite extensive, and though we didn't opt for the "show" of cooking at the table, we did actually enjoy watching some other groups do that. We were a party of five, one of whom was in a wheelchair. We visited Murasaki for dinner on a Friday evening and thought perhaps there would be a wait.
